BEIJING, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) — Chinese shares opened lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.5 percent to open at 2,319.42.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 9,393.76, down 54.89 points, or 0.58 percent.
